On this episode we discuss the first volume of Appleseed, a cyberpunk manga by Shirow Masamune, the creator of Ghost in the Shell. After the Third World War, Deunan and Briarios, former LAPD SWAT members, are recruited to live in the utopia of Olympus and join the ESWAT (Extra Special Weapons And Tactics). Their new job has them protecting Olympus from both foreign and domestic threats.

The Whatnauts Podcast was the original podcast that we launched here at The Whatnauts.
