Merida feels stifled by her life as a princess, and especially by her overbearing mother trying to groom her into perfection. When Merida follows a will o’ the wisp into the forest and encounters a witch, she asks for a spell to change her fate by changing her mother, but the magic has disastrous effects that almost tear her family apart.
