On this episode we discuss Akira Kurosawa’s classic 1954 film, Seven Samurai. Set during the Sengoku period, a village is threatened by bandits who continually steal their crops and other food. The villagers are left starving and defenseless so they hire a group of ronin, masterless samurai, to protect them against the bandits.
